I recently saw a simple idea on Instagram that made me think, \u201cWhy have I not been doing this already?\u201d The idea was to freeze lime slices and use them in sodas instead of regular ice cubes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I gave it a try, and it was such an easy little upgrade. The frozen lime slices kept my drink cold, added a fresh citrus flavor, and looked so pretty in the glass. After I shared it, people in my comments started suggesting even more ideas, like freezing lemon slices, cucumber slices, orange slices, apple slices, and even strawberry tops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now I\u2019m hooked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you love adding a little flavor to sparkling water, soda, iced tea, lemonade, or mocktails, this is such a simple trick to keep in your freezer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
